2011

 

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) improves the data quality of the SCEDC archive.

 

As of September 9, 2011, the SCEDC website has been upgraded to a new design.

 

New waveform relocated earthquake catalog available.

 

New focal mechanism catalog available.

 

2012

Version 1.6.2 of the STP command-line client is available as of March 6, 2012. This version corrects a bug that caused a segmentation fault on 64-bit machines when the main STP server was overloaded.

 

GPS data, waveform scans, and STP will be offline for about 10 minutes starting at 3pm today. (April 4, 2012)

 

SCEDC is now archiving real time GPS displacement waveforms. (July 2, 2012)
