SLIP RATE: estimated at between 0.8 and 2.1 mm/yr
INTERVAL BETWEEN MAJOR RUPTURES: uncertain
PROBABLE MAGNITUDES: MW6.0 - 7.2 (?);
uncertain due to uncertainty in the continuity of the fault zone
OTHER NOTES: This fault zone lies entirely offshore. It is poorly located in parts, and not well studied.
